Free places around Singapore where kids can splash about and cool off, by region. Each one is checked on its official page: that it's free, its hours and its closure days. Pack swimwear, a towel and a change of clothes.
There's no West entry for now: Clusia Cove at Jurong Lake Gardens, NParks' only water play area in the West, is closed for maintenance until further notice. We'll add it when it reopens.

Central
The city and Marina Bay, Orchard, Sentosa, Tiong Bahru, Queenstown, Bukit Timah, Novena, Toa Payoh, Bishan and Kallang
Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park water playground
Kids open and close sluice gates to send water down slopes and along channels, then clamber over foam structures and splash in the puddles. Plants in the park's cleansing biotope clean the recycled water before it reaches the playground. Kids of any age who like working out where water goes.
Far East Organization Children's Garden, Gardens by the Bay
The water play's centrepiece has motion sensors that respond as children move around it, and the toddler zone's Fish Fountain has water tunnels and fish sculptures. The garden also has rainforest tree houses to explore by rope, ladder and slide. Families with kids 12 and under, since adults only get in with a child that age.
Jacob Ballas Children's Garden
About 500 square metres of water play in the Botanic Gardens' garden for children, with mist zones, wading pools, jets that spray at different heights, umbrella fountains and a splash bucket, all themed on the water cycle. There's a changing area too. Kids 2 to 12 with an adult, since grown-ups only get in with a child.
Marina Barrage Water Playground
A water playground at Marina Barrage, whose green roof is a popular spot for flying kites and picnicking, with views across the city skyline. Families making a day out of the barrage's open spaces.
North
Woodlands, Sembawang, Yishun, Admiralty, Mandai and Ang Mo Kio
Dino Playground, Causeway Point
A wet playground with slides, spring riders and trampolines. Play runs in sessions with a break for changing, and numbers are capped. Kids 12 and under, in swimwear, with a parent close by.
East
Punggol, Sengkang, Hougang, Serangoon, Pasir Ris, Tampines, Bedok, Changi, Geylang and East Coast
Coastal PlayGrove water play area, East Coast Park
A string of wading pools joined by a little stream, with water jets that light up after dark, inside a big seaside play area that also has a play tower and a nature playgarden. A toilet nearby is handy for drying off and changing. Kids 5 to 12 who like to wade and splash; it's wheelchair-accessible.
kidzPLAY @ Skygarden, NEX
A pirate-themed rooftop playground with a wet side and a dry side. On the wet side kids climb a pirate ship and ride a giant octopus slide among water spouts and splash buckets, while the dry side has short slides and swings for younger ones. Families on a mall day in Serangoon, with a dry side for younger siblings.

Not always. Marina Barrage's closes without notice in heavy rain or during a lightning alert, Jacob Ballas Children's Garden closes its water play in bad weather, and Causeway Point's Dino Playground opens depending on the weather.
Which ones suit toddlers?
Jacob Ballas Children's Garden's water play is for ages 2 to 12, and the Children's Garden at Gardens by the Bay has a toddler zone for ages 1 to 5, with water tunnels. Coastal PlayGrove's water play is for ages 5 to 12.
Which ones are open on Mondays?
Marina Barrage's (from 12.30pm, once it reopens after its maintenance to Thu 15 Oct), Causeway Point's Dino Playground (except the 2nd Monday of the month) and kidzPLAY at NEX. Jacob Ballas, Coastal PlayGrove, Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park's and the Children's Garden close on Mondays unless it's a public holiday.
