Kid-friendly exhibitions, festive displays and shows on during Singapore's year-end school holidays, each checked on its official page. Many year-end events haven't been announced yet, so we'll add them as they are and re-check the list every month.
Exhibitions and displays
Gardens by the Bay Christmas Train Show, Flower Dome
Model trains chug through a Christmas village inspired by Rovaniemi, Santa's hometown in Finland, past Christmas trees, poinsettias and toy workshops, all inside the Flower Dome. All ages, especially little train fans.
ONE Ocean: Every Action Ripples, Science Centre Singapore
An ocean science exhibition of 360° projections and hands-on zones, from coral reefs and a recreated Arctic station to microscopic ocean life and the marine life of Singapore's own waters, with an optional free-roaming VR dive. Kids 5 and up, as the Science Centre recommends; the VR dive is for 9 and up.
Funtastical World of Fungi, Singapore Botanic Gardens
An exhibition on the hidden world of fungi, built around an art installation of live glowing mycelium and fungi, with a look at the many kinds of fungi found in Singapore and why they matter. Kids curious about nature and science.
Disney Garden of Wonder at Floral Fantasy
Disney and Pixar characters made from flowers and plants, with Toy Story 5 and Frozen favourites, Beauty and the Beast, Jasmine and Rajah from Aladdin, and Mickey and Donald making teh tarik. All ages, especially young Disney and Pixar fans.
Rides and play
Pokémon Day-to-Night Adventure, Singapore Cable Car
Ride between Mount Faber and Sentosa in one of 18 cable car cabins themed on the starter Pokémon of all nine regions, and hunt for hidden Pokémon and their evolutions with a UV torch. Pokémon fans of all ages.

WonderGround, The Artground at One Holland Village
A compact indoor play space themed as an underground burrow, with tunnels, roots and sparkling caverns for little ones to crawl through and explore. Babies and toddlers, with an adult alongside throughout.
Shows
The Nutcracker by State Ballet of Georgia, Sands Theatre
A touring company of 60 dancers from the State Ballet of Georgia tells the Christmas Eve story of Clara and her nutcracker doll, with toy soldiers springing to life, a battle with the Mouse King, a snowy winter kingdom and the Sugar Plum Fairy, all set to Tchaikovsky's score. Kids 3 and up who can sit through a ballet of nearly two hours with an interval; under-12s need a parent or guardian with them.
Dinosaur Odyssey by DINO-A-LIVE, Resorts World Sentosa
A live show where life-sized dinosaurs move freely around the performance space, just metres from the audience, with projections, lighting and special effects. Dinosaur fans; kids 12 and under must come with an adult.
SSO Christmas Concert, Esplanade (SG Culture Pass Eligible)
The Singapore Symphony Orchestra's Christmas concert, with music from The Nutcracker and John Rutter's Gloria, the Symphony Chorus, Youth Choir and Children's Choir, and Christmas medleys for everyone to sing along to. Kids 5 and up who can sit through a full concert with an interval; babies and toddlers aren't admitted.
Questions
Do junior colleges have the same holidays?
Not quite. MOE's calendar gives JC Year 1 and MI Years 1 and 2 a year-end break from Sat 28 Nov to Thu 31 Dec 2026.
When do O-Level students finish?
Earlier, at schools used as venues for the GCE O-Level written exams: MOE says their final term ends on Fri 23 Oct 2026.
Will more things be added?
Yes. Many year-end events, such as Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay and the Orchard Road light-up, haven't been announced yet. We re-check the list every month and add each one once its dates, hours, place and price are published.
