Children's Day Enchanted Forest at Wildlings, West Coast Park
A fairy-tale nature party at Wildlings' outdoor play space, with potion-making in a nature kitchen, a crafting corner for wands, talismans and crowns, a treasure hunt, face painting, lawn games and bouncy castles. Every child comes with a ticketed adult, and it runs rain or shine, with shelter.
Octoburst! Children's Day festival at Esplanade
Esplanade's children's festival, with a paper-flower craft studio, Sports Day team games on the lawn, roving musicians who turn kids' moves into music, a room of stories written by Singapore children, concerts and a family dance party. Families with kids of any age.
SSO Babies' Proms at Victoria Concert Hall (SG Culture Pass Eligible)
The Singapore Symphony's long-running concert for small children, where the whole point is to get up and move along to the music rather than sit still. Babies, toddlers and preschoolers with their grown-ups.

Children's Day at Kidz Amaze
SAFRA's three Kidz Amaze indoor playgrounds celebrate Children's Day with a meet & greet, games, a piñata and mystery gifts while stocks last, plus STEAM, robotics and brain-training workshops at Jurong and a music-and-storytelling class at Toa Payoh. Kids under 14, with the workshops for ages 4 to 12.

KidsSTOP Children's Day Celebration, Science Centre
KidsSTOP, the Science Centre's hands-on science space for young children, celebrates Children's Day with glow-in-the-dark crafts, a glowing kiddie rave and a goodie-bag buffet where each child packs a bag to take home, all included with entry. A Children's Day bundle adds an Omni-Theatre film for less. Kids 18 months to 8, each with an adult 18 or over.
Little Dreamers, Big Heroes at Children's Museum Singapore
A Children's Day storytelling and craft outing that starts at Children's Museum Singapore with WonderBot and Chloe's time-travel story, then takes a chartered bus to Changi Chapel and Museum or Reflections at Bukit Chandu, depending on the ticket, for a second story and craft. Each child takes home a keepsake and a Children's Day gift. Every child comes with an adult, and tickets are sold in parent-and-child pairs.
Relak Buddy's feelings playdate at National Gallery
A parent-and-child session: a storytelling adventure with Relak Buddy about big feelings, then making creative eyewear together. Each child comes with at least one ticketed adult.
WHITE at The Artground (SG Culture Pass Eligible)
A Singapore staging of the Scottish show WHITE, set in an all-white world of birdhouses until colour starts creeping in. A gentle first theatre trip for little ones. Everyone needs a ticket, babies in arms included.

IKEA's Swedish Bistro treats children to a free oat vanilla ice cream cone for Children's Day.
Half-price kids' tickets at ONE Ocean, Science Centre
A multi-sensory ocean exhibition of 360° projections and interactive zones, from Arctic ice to coral reefs. Joining the Science Centre's mailing list reveals a Children's Day code for half-price child tickets. Kids 5 and up.
A free roll for kids at rrooll
For rrooll's fifth birthday, kids who stand under the in-store height line get a free roll in Original Cinnamon, Classic Cinnamon, Original Chocolate or Double Chocolate. Your child has to be at the counter to be measured.

Questions
Is Children's Day a public holiday in Singapore?
No. MOE lists Fri 2 Oct 2026 as a school holiday for primary schools and MOE Kindergartens, not a public holiday, so it's a normal working day.
Do secondary school students get Children's Day off?
No. MOE gives the day off to primary schools, the primary sections of full schools and MOE Kindergartens only. For secondary schools, Fri 2 Oct is a normal day of Term 4, which runs until Fri 20 Nov.
Are preschools closed on Children's Day?
Yes. ECDA has made Children's Day a preschool holiday since 2024, and MOE's KCare centres close that day too.
